Whoa! Happy Birthday month to all of our Sailors born in May!
Happy early birthday to our Sailors who have birthdays in July!!!
This was possibly my favorite class reward. The snowball fight after our hard work on book reports!!! We were all laughing and sweating by the end of it.
I wanted to remind you that Sunday is Mother's Day! I hope you get to pamper your mamas and make them feel extra special this weekend! Maybe a little breakfast in bed?!
Last Friday when I was delivering May Day surprises I had the best day! It was so neat to see so many of you and your families. It took me 3 and a half hours to complete my secret mission! Holy cow!
I heard that many of you were able to spread some May Day joy, too! I hope you'll consider carrying on the May Day tradition again next May 1st. Grace said she felt like Santa when we went on some deliveries to family members.
I can't wait to see you at MPE next Thursday, May 14th between 12:30 and 2:00 to exchange our goods!
Lastly, I can't thank you all enough for the May Day baskets, flowers, and cards. I feel so loved and appreciated! I hope you know how loved and appreciated you are by me, too!
Love, Mrs. McGill
P.S. This year we had the best Morning Meeting and Writing Celebration with our Sailor families. It'll surely be a tradition to continue next year.
What was your favorite moment or memory this year as a Sailor??
Please post below. I can't wait to read them!
My Sailors are a lot shorter in size and attention these days! ;) Also, hopefully the laundry piles are relatable. Haha!

Also, guess who the secret Sailor is in the balloon chalk picture!
Miss you all so much! Just know that even though we don't get to come back to school to our classroom again, WE WILL COME TOGETHER AND CELEBRATE as soon as it is safe again. We'll have a Sailor Celebration even if it's next Fall!!!

I just wanted to share a few things I've been up to! I've been trying to stay busy with my sweet little crew since I miss my Sailors so much! We have been trying to find the FUN in everything. Even when we're folding laundry, we call it a laundry party! ;) Ha! This family time has been something I'll cherish forever. Miss you all like crazy!
