Math This week we'll move into metric measurements. Below are a few things you and your Sailor can do at home.
Extra practice ideas for home: -counting coins (such great practice for skip counting) -play STOP THE CLOCK online *they know how to find the game and the different levels -Dream Box math online using chromebook, laptop, or ipad -measuring things around the house using rulers (inches, feet, centimeters)

I missed seeing the Sailors in reading groups last week when I was at home with my sick crew. I'm excited to meet with them during this short but might week we have ahead of us. We're focusing on contractions, pronouns (I, me, we, us, etc.) and point of view this week.

FYI This week we'll try out a hand washing incentive to see if that helps keep the germs and sickness at bay. This teacher is willing to try anything!
